I first met you and Warwick back in the late 2000’s when I was Head Coach of Deben Swimming Club. Our poolside meets were brief to start with but with each gala that passed we spent longer chatting and lunching in the officials room! You soon became very much part of the gala set up - literally - when we moved to Norwich and I managed Sportspark pool our gala protocol and set up sheet had you in it to make sure you had everything you needed! The amount of hours you and Warwick gave up to be with the swimmers is incredible and the fact you continued to represent Warwick after his passing made me so humbled and proud to know you. I cant imagine how hard that must have been for you but when you told me it helped you feel close to him i completely understood!
